In the 1960s, Grandma Mary and Grandpa Ray built an A-frame home in Loudonville that would become a mainstay of our family history. Four children and twelve grandchildren grew up exploring, fishing, sledding, and enjoying home-cooked meals together.
After Ray passed, Grandma sold the house. But it didn’t leave the family forever. We bought it back in 2015 and transformed Maray Hills (named after Grandma and Grandpa's first names) into a vacation home, so that others could enjoy this magical property.
You and your guests can appreciate the outdoors from the warmth and comfort of Maray Hills' living and dining room. With large windows that overlook the Mohican River, cozy up by the fire while hummingbirds and cardinals visit the bird feeder and deer wander the yard below.
When you're ready to leave the comforts of the indoors, the property outside offers 1,000 feet of Mohican riverfront to enjoy however you please. Make a campfire in the fire pit and listen to the rhythm of the river as the crickets chirp and the fire crackles. No matter the season, the view in the Valley is tremendous, with brilliant fall foliage, picturesque winterscapes with trees coated in bright snow, and vivid greens in the warmth of summer. Whenever you choose to visit, Maray Hills offers you a quiet respite from the rush of your daily grind.
